ELISAVA SHOWCASES TWO INNOVATIVE PROJECTS AT MILAN DESIGN WEEK
The university presents two creatively major design and engineering projects to the world.
“Decoding Creativity Experimenting with Chaos”, developed in partnership with elBulliFoundation will be at Ventura Lambrate.
“Next Design Innovation”, an initiative promoted by the Region of Lombardy and the Polifactory of the Politecnico di Milano, exhibits six previously unknown projects by designers under 35, developed with the support of the Department of Business and Knowledge of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia.
Both projects -presented at the Milan Fuorisalone, one of the most important design events in the world – underscore ELISAVA’s firm commitment to innovation-based design and engineering.
During the Milan Design Week, the capital city of Lombardy became the world’s showcase for design and interior design. The fair features a huge number of events, exhibitions, open days and showrooms.
The Fuorisalone has increased its fame in recent years, going from a side-show to the Milan Design Week to having its own calendar of events which have become a must-see for design professionals. Halls, shops, workshops and industrial plants are transformed from 12 to 17 April into spaces that are open to the general public.
ELISAVA Barcelona School of Design and Engineering participates with two major creative projects: Decoding Creativity Experimenting with Chaos in partnership with the elBulliFoundation, and Next Design Innovation in partnership with the Department of Business and Knowledge of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia, through ACCIÓ and CCAM agencies.
